2. Description of service

unHinged is a free entertainment web application that presents historical and public figures as fictional dating profiles. The app includes a discovery/browsing mode, a daily guessing game, profile collections, and global statistics. Premium features are available as an optional one-off purchase.

3. User accounts

• You may use the app without an account, with data stored locally on your device.
• Signing in with Google allows your data to sync across devices.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You may request deletion of your account at any time.

4. Premium purchases

• Premium is a one-off payment that permanently unlocks additional features for your account.
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
• Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis — contact us if you have any issues.
• Premium features include unlimited swipes, additional filters, and full access to the daily game archive.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its systems
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the app without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
• Submit abusive, harmful, or spam content through feedback forms

6. Content disclaimer

Profile content is generated using AI and public information sources (including Wikipedia). While we strive for accuracy, profiles are presented for entertainment purposes and may contain inaccuracies, creative interpretations, or humorous embellishments. unHinged is not a factual reference source.

7. Intellectual property

The unHinged name, logo, design, and original content are the property of the creator. Historical images used in profiles are sourced from public domain or openly licensed sources (e.g. Wikimedia Commons).

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or inaccuracies in content.

9. Service availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice. This is an independent project maintained by a single developer, and uptime is provided on a best-effort basis.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
